Iron Eagle occurs as 1986 movie about a son (Jason Gedrick) who steals an F-16 fighter plane to rescue his father (Tim Thomerson), a prisoner of war in the Middle East.
It too stars Louis Gossett, Jr. as Col. Charles 'Chappy' Sinclair. This film features a Queen hit "One Vision". Interestingly, a delta-winged hostile aircraft featured in the movie come identified when MiGs, while it is patently Dassault Mirage derivatives, most belike IAI Kfirs.
